As a dementia friendly financial professional, it is critical to understand how to speak to and approach our clients. A general strategy is using the T-A-L-K tactics. Early warning signs of dementia include difficulty managing finances. This may include difficulty with determining change, difficulty balancing checkbook, having an overdrawn account, forgetting to pay bills, and forgetting where they put their cash.
